They will consolidate the concept of number bonds with ladybird spots, addition with insect legs and conduct a minibeast survey complete with a pictogram display. They’ll investigate symmetry, re-tell a story with a puppet show and learn about insect friendly flowers.

There are several learning prompts to nudge children in the direction of self-led research but purposefully left completely open so they can delve into the aspects that capture their interest.
It is written for them, in easy to understand steps using a dyslexia friendly font. It is suitable for children aged 5+ with adult support as appropriate. Children aged 7-11 should be able to do it mostly independently. Some of our activities involve the use of things like scissors, knives and ovens; children will need appropriate supervision for these.
